Our partner Spanish school in Pichelemu is run by American ex-pats Valerie Gaino Wilcox and Chris   Wilcox, who opened the school five years ago after an inspirational surfing trip in Mexico.  The couple have succeeded in accomplishing their three-point mission of becoming fluent in Spanish, opening a business, and surfing as much as possible.  They rave about the small fishing town of Pichilemu and its relaxed atmosphere – a perfect setting for the “surfer vibe” they have achieved within their school.  Now with years of success and a new facility, it is a perfect time to visit Pichilemu and AmeriSpan is so glad to have found them when we did.  In addition to surfing and Spanish classes, students can arrange to receive college credit and even find additional activities on-site, like Vinyasa yoga!

We recommend Spanish study in Pichilemu for adventure seekers and lovers of tranquility alike, as this location on the central coast of Chile is a small-town gem without the headache of major metropolises but with plenty to do!

An ever-popular location, our Spanish school in Jaco Beach has great facilities and is just seven blocks from the shoreline.  Here you can enjoy a pool, tropical garden, outdoor class, and free internet.  And, you have the option to take Spanish and Surfing if you feel so inclined!

2. Manuel Antonio

Classrooms in Manuel Antonio have ocean views and the school itself is just a short walk to the beach!  It's also very closeby to the rainforest, Manuel Antonio National Park and many restaurants and shops.

3. Flamingo Beach
Flamingo is another exquisite locale.  The newly built school is just blocks away from the beach and downtown, and students have access to an outdoor gym, pool, and free shuttle service to homestays.

4. Samara Beach
Our fabulous school in Samara is popular and relaxing.  Students enjoy outdoor thatched roof huts, personal attention in class, very close proximity to the beach, and daily Latin dance classes.  Hailed by Budget Travel Magazine as the "swellest little town in Costa Rica."

 French for Diplomatic Relations, located in Bordeaux, France, is designed for ambassadors, diplomats, international organizers, government agents, and political science students. Participants receive both group and private French lessons. The private French lessons focus on vocabulary development, more formal terminology, observation of diplomatic communications, formal speeches, and the examination of professional documents.
