All Japanese Programs Suspended

For Immediate Release:

We have re-evaluated the situation since suspending our Japanese language programs back in March of 2011.  AmeriSpan is suspending all Japan study abroad programs indefinitely.  Everyone enrolled in a Japanese program will receive a full refund from AmeriSpan.  Those who still wish to travel to Japan may contact us regarding program questions, however, when it comes to booking the program we will automatically refer you to our Japanese partners schools to reserve the program with them.

The news and uncertain of radiation and the instability of the nuclear power plant has convinced us that the situation is in no way stable and will not be for some time.   Our hearts and prayers go out to the Japanese people and our partner schools in Japan.  We encourage all to help in some way. What is your background?
I was born in Valladolid in 1966, I studied Philosophy and Letters at the Universidad de Valladolid and specialized in Hispanic Philology. I'm married to Marisa, who also works for dQ as an instructor, and we have a daughter named Andrea. I live in Collado Villalba, about 40 km from Madrid, close to the mountains so I can rest and relax on the weekends.

What is your background?
I have my degree in Spanish Philosophy from the University of Alcalá (Madrid,Spain) and from the University of Durham (United Kingdom) in 1995.  I strongly believe that my love for the language field began when I was named Graduate Student Tutor at Bowling Green State University (Ohio, U.S.A) in 1991. I also had different grants to work as an assistant at the International Relations Office in my University. When I started my degree at the University I had to work a lot!
